Veg Keema Masala

   
       
             Veg Keema Masala !!! The name itself is mouth watering. Isn't it ?? Had a lot of requests for this recipe. So without any further delay here I am posting the recipe for Veg Keema Masala. I had made this when I invited friends for lunch. They also loved this. Hope you also do.




Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Cooking Time: 40 minutes

Ingredients:
  • 2 Onions finely Chopped
  • 1 Tomato ground into a fine paste
  • 1 tomato finely chopped
  • 1/2 capsicum finely chopped
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped French beans
  • 1/3 cup green peas
  • 2 finely chopped green chilies
  • 1/2 carrot finely chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/4 tsp cumin seed powder
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala
  • 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • Grated paneer 1/3 cup
  • Grated cheese 2 tbsp.
  • Coriander leaves finely chopped
  • Oil
  • Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp

Method:
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add mustard seeds. When they splutter add finely chopped onions. Sauté till the onions turn brown.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste to it. Sauté for a minute.
  • Add finely chopped green chilies & finely chopped capsicum. Sauté till capsicum is cooked.
  • Add tomato paste & cook for 2 minutes.
  • Later add finely chopped tomatoes to it & cook till tomatoes go soft.
  • Add red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin seed powder & garam masala. Cook it for 2 - 3 minutes. Add a splash of water if necessary.
  • Add finely chopped carrots, finely chopped French beans & green peas.. Cover with a lid & let them cook on medium flame for 7 - 10 minutes. Check if all the veggies are cooked properly. If not cook for a couple of minutes more.
  • Add grated paneer, 1 tbsp. cheese & salt to taste to it. Stir well. 
  • Cook for 2 - 3 minutes more.
  • Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves & remaining grated cheese.
  • Serve hot with naan or roti.
