I have already shared golden banana chips. Today sharing another style of banana chips. Try it for yourself !!
Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 30 minutes (for each frying batch 5-10 minutes)

- Raw Banana
- Salt to taste
- Turmeric Powder
- Oil for Frying
- Water
- Red Chili Powder
Method:
- Peel a raw banana with a knife.
- Take a bowl full of water. Add 1 tsp salt & 1 tsp turmeric powder to it.
- Immerse the peeled banana in this turmeric water for 5 minutes.
- Now slice the peeled bananas in very thin & long slices using a slicer.
- Heat oil in a kadai. Keep the heat on a medium flame. Put each banana slice in the oil one by one. Don’t stir often.
- Let them get fried for 5 minutes or so on low to medium heat. Once you see the golden color of the chips, remove it from oil & put them on a paper napkin to soak the extra oil. Immediately sprinkle some salt & red chili powder over the fried chips until they are hot.
- Store them in an airtight container.
Tips:
- Don’t over fry the chips. Remove the chips from oil once they turn golden. The color gets enhanced after sometime.
- Very Important - To make the chips crispy it is essential that you fry them on low - medium heat.
