Garlic Toast is a great evening time snack. You can make it in a jiffy & satisfy your hunger in the evening. Have it along with your evening tea/coffee/juice. Just Perfect !!!
Preparation Time: 2 minutes
Cooking Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
- 3 bread slices
- Garlic Cloves 2 large
- Olive Oil 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Grated Cheese
- Black pepper powder to taste
- Dried Oregano
- Butter
Method:
- Crush the Garlic pods. Mix it with olive oil & salt. Set aside.
- Take a bread slice. Spread the garlic-olive mix on one side.
- Put the bread slice on a hot tawa (garlic side sticking the tawa).
- Now while its roasting, on its top side apply some butter.
- Roast garlic side of the bread for 40 seconds or so (Till garlic side of bread gets some light red spots). Now flip.
- Now its butter side will be sticking the tawa & garlic side on the top.
- Quickly sprinkle some grated cheese on the garlic side, some black pepper & some oregano. When cheese gets melted, remove the bread in a plate.
- Repeat the same for remaining bread slices.
Tips:
- Garlic - Olive oil mix should have spreading consistency.
- Roast each side of bread for around 40 seconds.
- Butter side should get crunchy. So roasting butter side might take more than 40 seconds.
