We all need brown onions for Biryani. This onions just level up the taste of Biryani. I put lots of browned onions in my Biryani. Taste so good. I even munch on a little after they are fried. They taste so crisp. Here is the recipe for it.
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
- 2 Onions
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- Oil for Frying
- Slice onions thinly as shown below.
- Add salt & sugar to it.
- Let it rest for 10 minutes.
- You will notice that the onions lose water.
- Just squeeze out the water from onions & shallow fry them in enough oil till they are browned.
- Keep stirring in between.
- Once done, remove them on a paper napkin. Let them cool down.
- Use this in Biryanis or for garnishing.
