Brown Onions for Biryani

 
                   We all need brown onions for Biryani. This onions just level up the taste of Biryani. I put lots of browned onions in my Biryani. Taste so good. I even munch on a little after they are fried. They taste so crisp. Here is the recipe for it.





Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:
  • 2 Onions
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Oil for Frying
Method:
  • Slice onions thinly as shown below.

  • Add salt & sugar to it.
  • Let it rest for 10 minutes.
  • You will notice that the onions lose water.
  • Just squeeze out the water from onions & shallow fry them in enough oil till they are browned.

  • Keep stirring in between.
  • Once done, remove them on a paper napkin. Let them cool down.
  • Use this in Biryanis or for garnishing.
