Coriander - Mint Chutney for Chaats


              Green Chutney is one of the key ingredients for any chaat. One can use it for any chaats like bhel, sev puri, dahi puri, ragda patties, samosa chaat, raj kachori, etc. It can also be used for sandwiches. This is a very simple one.
 
               Check the recipe below.




Preparation Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:
  • 1 cup coriander leaves
  • 1/2 cup mint leaves
  • 2 cloves of Garlic (Optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • Green chilies 2
  • Lemon Juice 1 tsp
  • Water as needed

Method:
  • Grind all the above ingredients together except water.
  • Add water for grinding as needed.
  • Adjust its consistency as desired.
  • This chutney stays good for 1 week in refrigerator.
  • Add 1 tsp Curd for Bright green Color of the Chutney.

Chocolate Mousse Cake (Eggless)


                 Its Valentine's week friends !!! How about a chocolate mousse cake for your partner ? That too, Eggless !!! Everyone loves it !!!
 
                  Its pretty simple. I have already shared with you all Eggless Chocolate Cake recipe & Eggless Chocolate mousse recipe. This one is just to assemble it together. Below is the recipe !!!




Ingredients:

Method:
  • Chocolate Cake: Refer Eggless Chocolate Cake Recipe for making the cake. Cake might fluff up from the centre. Just keep 1 or 2 cm thick cake. Cut the rest & discard it. (Check tips section for reference to know what can be done with the discarded cake).
  • Chocolate mousse: Refer Eggless Chocolate Mousse recipe for making it.
  • Assembling:
    • Keep the 2 cm thick cake in the bottom of the cake tin itself.
    • Pour the eggless chocolate mousse mixture over the cake in that cake tin.
    • Just level the mousse with the help of a spoon. Give it a light tap to even it.
    • Refrigerate it for 4 hours.
    • Remove the cake from the cake tin & garnish it with grated chocolate or the way you want.

Tips:
  • You can definitely eat the discarded cake like that. Or make cake pops, trifle pudding etc from it.

  • Use a cake tin whose side can be removed. It will be easier to remove the cake on a plate. Or else it can become quite messy while removing it on a plate.
