Spinach Soup


What better to have in winter days than soup ?? Its very healthy. Lets see how it is made.



Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1 small onion
  • 1/4 inch ginger
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 green chilies
  • Salt to taste
  • Water
Method:
  • Keep water in a vessel for boiling
  • Wash the spinach leaves & add them to the boiling water
  • Add a small onion, ginger, bay leaf, green chili to it.
  • Boil oh high heat for 2-3 minutes. Don't let the color of the spinach leaves get dark.  
  • Drain the water. Now grind the remaining in a mixer pot. Add the drained water if needed.
  • Heat a wok.
  • Add the grinded spinach mixture in the wok. Add salt to taste.
  • Add water to it according to the consistency of the soup you desire.
  • Serve it hot.
