Mawa can be used in variety of desserts. It can be used in making mithais, ladoos, barfis etc. In India generally it is easily available. But in foreign countries, its difficult to find mawa. So why not make mawa at home & use it in making desserts ? It enhances the taste of the desserts. But its quite time consuming to make mawa from milk. So here is a process of making mawa in just 12 minutes & with the help of only 2 ingredients.
Cooking Time: 12 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 tsp ghee
- 250 gms Ricotta cheese
- Add 1 tsp ghee & ricotta cheese to a microwave safe bowl.
- Microwave it for 12 minutes. Stirring after every 12 minutes.
- The color of the mixture will change from white to light yellowish.
- Remove from heat & let it cool. Refrigerate it & use later for your desserts.
- It will stay good in the fridge for upto 3 days.
