Summer is beginning. So you need something to cut down the body heat. So you can add buttermilk in your daily diet.
Preparation Time: 1 minute
Cooking Time: 2 minutes
Ingredients:
- Yoghurt 1/2 cup
- Water 1/2 cup
- Black Salt
- Sugar 1/4 tsp
- Roasted Cumin seeds powder 1/2 tsp
- Coriander leaves for garnishing
Method:
- Mix yoghurt & water together in a blender. You can also blend it with a wire whisk.
- Add sugar, black salt to taste & cumin seeds powder. Mix well.
- Garnish it with coriander leaves & cumin seeds powder.
- Serve chilled !!
- Adjust the consistency of the buttermilk according to the way you desire. The measure I have mentioned for water depends on the thickness of the yoghurt. If its too thick you may need to add more water.
- You can replace black salt with normal salt. But the taste is much better with black salt.
- You can also add a tempering of oil, cumin seeds & curry leaves for added flavor.
