Dahi Bread Dhokla / Sandwich Bread Dhokla


             Always wondering what should we have for tea time ?? Something quick, tasty & healthy. Hmmmmm !! Here is one of those recipes.

             Everything is readily available in our kitchen. Just make a nice snack out of it. Here is how !!
             




Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:
  • Bread Slices 4
  • Curd 1 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Cumin powder 1/5 tsp
  • Red Chili Powder 1/4 tsp
  • Green Chili 1 finely Chopped
  • Coriander leaves finely chopped
  • Onion 1/2 finely chopped
  • Oil 1 tbsp.
  • Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Sesame seeds 1/3 tsp
  • Asafetida a pinch
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Curry leaves few

Method:
  • In a mixing bowl, mix curd, red chili powder, cumin seed powder, salt to taste, green chili finely chopped, coriander leaves finely chopped & onion finely chopped . Mix well.
  • Spread a generous amount of yoghurt mixture on a bread slice. Place another bread slice on it. Now cut this sandwich in 4 pieces. Do the same with other 2 slices.
  • Heat a skillet. Add oil to it. Add mustard seeds to it. When they splutter, add sesame seeds, turmeric powder, asafetida & curry leaves to it. place each quarter sandwich piece on the tawa. Roast it from both sides till golden & crispy.
  • Remove them in a serving plate. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
