Everything is readily available in our kitchen. Just make a nice snack out of it. Here is how !!
Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients:
- Bread Slices 4
- Curd 1 cup
- Salt to taste
- Cumin powder 1/5 tsp
- Red Chili Powder 1/4 tsp
- Green Chili 1 finely Chopped
- Coriander leaves finely chopped
- Onion 1/2 finely chopped
- Oil 1 tbsp.
- Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
- Sesame seeds 1/3 tsp
- Asafetida a pinch
- Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
- Curry leaves few
Method:
- In a mixing bowl, mix curd, red chili powder, cumin seed powder, salt to taste, green chili finely chopped, coriander leaves finely chopped & onion finely chopped . Mix well.
- Spread a generous amount of yoghurt mixture on a bread slice. Place another bread slice on it. Now cut this sandwich in 4 pieces. Do the same with other 2 slices.
- Heat a skillet. Add oil to it. Add mustard seeds to it. When they splutter, add sesame seeds, turmeric powder, asafetida & curry leaves to it. place each quarter sandwich piece on the tawa. Roast it from both sides till golden & crispy.
- Remove them in a serving plate. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
