Tandoori Aloo is a perfect party starter for vegetarians. It is made using baby potatoes. You can definitely use normal potatoes also. Marinate them & bake them. Check the recipe below..
Ingredients:
- Baby Potatoes (10 - 12)
- Curd 1 cup
- Red Chili Powder 1 tsp
- Garam Masala 1/2 tsp
- Ginger - Garlic Paste 1 tsp
- Turmeric 1/3 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Oil
Method:
- Boil baby potatoes for 7 - 8 minutes.
- Peel the skin from the potatoes.
- Make the marinade by mixing red chili powder, garam masala, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, salt to taste, 1 tsp oil & curd in a bowl. Mix well.
- Dip all the peeled baby potatoes in the marinade. Leave it aside for 2 hours.
- Preheat oven to 200 degree C.
- Place the baby potatoes in the oven for 30 - 40 minutes. Flip each potato after 20 minutes.
- Remove them once they turn golden from all sides.
- Serve hot with some salad & chutney of your choice.
- If you don't have oven, don't worry. You can also make it on a tawa.
